1. Who we are
Orbit Lock ("the app", "the game") is developed and published by Kings Code, based in the Netherlands. This policy explains what information is processed when you play Orbit Lock, why, and what your rights are. Questions? Contact us at [email protected].
2. The short version
- Orbit Lock requires no account and asks for no personal details — no name, e-mail address or phone number.
- Your game progress (levels, stars, high scores, settings) is stored only on your own device and is never uploaded to us.
- The game is free and supported by advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob processes limited device data to show and measure ads — this is the only data processing in the app.
- In the European Economic Area and the UK you are shown a consent dialog before any advertising data is processed, and you can change your choice at any time.
3. Data processed for advertising
Orbit Lock shows ads through Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process:
- Advertising ID — the resettable identifier provided by Android or iOS;
- Approximate location — a coarse, IP-address-based region (never GPS);
- Device and app information — device model, operating system version, app version and language;
- Ad interaction data — which ads were shown and whether they were viewed or tapped.
Legal basis: your consent (EEA/UK, via the consent dialog) or legitimate interest in serving non-personalized ads where permitted. Kings Code itself never sees, stores or sells this data. How Google uses it is described in Google's partner policy and Google's privacy policy.
4. Data stored on your device only
The following stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else: level progress and stars, high scores, sound and vibration preferences, and any feedback text you type into the in-game feedback form. Deleting the app deletes this data.
5. Your choices and rights
- Consent (EEA/UK): you can accept or decline personalized advertising in the consent dialog shown at first launch.
- Reset or limit the Advertising ID: Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
- Opt out of personalized ads via the same device settings — you will still see ads, but non-personalized ones.
- GDPR rights: as we hold no personal data about you ourselves, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google via the links above. For anything else, e-mail us and we will help within 30 days.
6. Children
Orbit Lock is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process children's data. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, contact us.
7. Security & transfers
All communication between the app and Google's advertising services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google may process advertising data outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts processing different data (for example through new features), we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
